Hello,

Today I setup filters on my multiplexer.
It's really easy to use and what a pleasure to have all data showing on my external big display. No more data congestion
Exclamation

By the way, I just think about a new function that can be include in the software. Now you can filter or rename NMEA sentences. It would be nice to be able to "calibrate" them. For exemple to add 0.45cm at the DPT sentence. Or to add few degrees at nmea sentences sent by the mast head sensor (alignement).

By the way you should rename this product : 5 in/ou NMEA Multiplexer as USB works as data in and out.

Good idea. I'll think about it and see if I can add it to the Software.

Well - I admit I don't have a calibration for other NMEA Sentences - but DPT is the only sentence that already can be calibrated !!

See : http://www.gadgetpool.de/nuke/downloads/gadgets/Multiplexer/NmeaMultiplexerEn1_8.pdf

Page 12, the last Paragraph on the page where it says
Quote:

Depth offset:
If depth offset is “0”, the multiplexer will create and send a DBT Nmea sentence.
If depth offset is not “0”, the multiplexer will create and send a DPT Nmea sentence
Depth offset can go from -32000 mm to 32000 mm. ( mm = 1000th of a meter )
Positive value = distance from transducer to water line.
Negative values = distance from transducer to keel.

Best regards
Frank

I didn't read this section as I thought it was only applicable to Seatalk messages.

But this is exactly what I'm looking for.

I use a triducer Airmar DST800 (speed - depth - temperature) and I need to calibrate speed and depth in nmea, not in seatalk

My previous nmea multiplexer had such option (in % for speed and value for depth), but it was always overflowing and configuration tool wasn't userfriendly.
