It's very quiet here ? Strange as this multiplexer is a clear market leader in features. It should be sold on a large scale !
This year i have added a tacktick, and have no free ports .
With the excellent filtering/forwarding features one could use a larger mux using more ports. And as i said in another thread, the thought of individual outputs for each input would make the filtering even more competitive.

Keep up the good work!

Hi peterh,

could you describe "individual outputs for each input" a little bit more in detail.
I'm sure you allready told me.
But - you know - Very Happy I'm getting old and tend to forget things Sad and I'm not sure what you mean.

Thanks
Frank

well it's simple.
There is 4 ports ( serial ports) , 2 of them has input AND output, 2 has only inputs.
If the hardware supported 4 ports with input AND output one could connect
each connected device to therir own in and out. This would make the filter
much easier, for each device one could tell what sentences that should go to what other device ( instead of a single output wired to all nmea-devices)

BTW i have news about my mux and the dropped connection, i'll try to find you mail address and send in private.

Hi,
I'm currently sailing in Turkey and have only very limited internet acces.
But anyway - my email is fwallenwein@gadgetpool.de
All 4 hardware ports for nmea are ready for receiving and sending.
I'll prepare the software for sending on all ports when I'm back home.

Regards Frank

I reply to this old post

But I just installed my new mux, in replacement of a Brookhouse model. Clearly gadgetpool mux is far better than other commercial mux.

And support is exceptionnal

I should have bought this mux at first time !
