Hi,
I'm using since 2009 your bridge with very big sadisfaction Smile
As I got a bridge w/o display I would like to know if it's possible to upgrade the current bridge or I have to buy a new one.
Is possible to have a display in a different position respect to new display so isn't necessary a upgrade of existing wiring harness ? Smile
If I undestood well different models of displays could be used now. Is it true?

Thanks a lot in advace

Hi trespolo,

to be honest - I don't recall what hardware version of the bridge you have.
If you should have a very old version of the bridge, you would have to solder some wires from the bridge to the display.
If you have a newer version, you could just solder a display to the bridge and change the software. No Problem. You also need a pushbutton in order to switch to different display pages.

Maybe you look on the pcb board and tell me if there is something written on it - like V3.5 ? Should be V3.5 Board, since we shipped that from 2006 on.

If you see two parallel solder pads on your PCB ?

If you have them, you could just solder the Display on the board.

I'm afraid I don't understand the question ? Embarassed

Well - not really. The board and the software is made for one special type of display. It's an
EA-DIP 204-4
