Today I released a new software version for the SeaTalk Nmea Bridge with and without LCD Display.

Click here for Firmware V 1.58 WITH LCD
Click here for Firmware V 1.58 WITHOUT LCD
or go to our Download Section

In this release we added :
Read Nmea VWR wind sentence in addition to the allready available MWV sentence.

Bugfix:
Serial data overrun, parity and frame errors could freeze the bridge.

B&G wind instruments apparently send a special BREAK-Condition on boot-up.
This could cause the bridge to freeze.
A special thank-you goes to user hds , who helped to find and fix this problem.

Moin,
last weekend we tested the new firmware sailing the first time this year. Its been cold, windy and rainy out at the baltic sea but the integration between the "old" B&G network instruments and Raymarines E120W plotter works pretty well now. Great job Frank!
Beside this technical achievement, the bridge also saved quite some money - turned to be a kind of "investment protector" - Thanks!

ship ahoi, Dieter
