My Raymarine ST60 Tridata module is faulty. It works fine as a display, but the SeaTalk output is dead. If I plug it into the SeaTalk bus, it kills the data on the bus.

Raymarine want €300 to repair it, so does anyone have a circuit diagram, or any ideas on how to fix it?

sorry - I don't know of anyone who has circuit diagrams.
But it would be verry interesting - of course- if anyone had them.

Hi Frank,

I now have service manuals with circuit diagrams for many of the ST60 range, unoffically of course. Is there somewhere I can upload them?

[Update] I have an ST60 Tridata with a faulty Seatalk output. The output is generally at 0V, but with both positive and negative glitches which bizarrely coincide with the frequency of the input signal from the Paddle Wheel on the green pin (simulated in my case).

I've traced the Seatalk signal internally, and it appears to look like this on the TX output of the microcontroller. I'm inclined to think that the fault lies with a discrete component, perhaps a clock generator for Seatalk.

Although I have a schematic diagram* for this device, I don't have any details of the various signals around the uC. Can anyone help?
