Are the schematics, and perhaps even the firmware sources available anywhere?

I've been looking to build my own isolated multiplexer, but it seems that I'll end up simply buying one (cheaper if I count my own time). This one seems like a great product, but I'm wondering how the galvanic isolation is implemented (partly because I'm curious, partly because I wonder if it was done right - there's a lot of schematics out there that simply connect the NMEA wires to an optocoupler which, AFAICS, does not constitue a proper balanced RS422 receiver). Having a schematic available would be great.

As for the firmware - It would be great to have the option for my own customizations, especially now I noticed that it uses an AVR chip (which I'm very familiar with). I don't have any particular customizations in mind, but some might pop up at some point.

Just noticed a post in this topic that says:

As with all gadgetPool marine products - sources will be sent out with each device shipped, and they are available on request.

So the answer to my question seems to be "yes, on request". I sent a request to the contact form, which might be better than through this forum.
